KOVALAM

I quickly understood what Dr. Vinoy meant when he referred to the Indian state of Kerala as “God’s own country.” Kerala, in the southwest tip of India, is bordered by mountains on the east and the Arabian sea on the west.

Tea Plantation - Munmar, Kerala
The natural world is everywhere: the beautiful beaches, the hills, the palm trees and tea plantations.
The beach at Kovalam
The center is located in Kovalam. Unlike some of the pristine and exclusive beaches of the Caribbean, the three beaches of Kovalam are community beaches. From the early morning fishermen to the families strolling the beach at night, the sea and sand are at one with the people who live nearby.
Dr. Vinoy’s clinic is 100 meters from the beach, and there wasn’t a day I didn’t spend some time there.
There are many beautiful places to visit and things to see during your time at Ayurvaidya. I particularly loved seeing the people in the streets and countryside:

Nearby Trivandrum is the capitol of the State of Kerala. Mahatma Gandhi described Trivandrum as the “evergreen city of India because of its rolling coastal hills and lively commercial alley-ways. There are many things to see in between treatments. Trivandrum is home to some of the most successful Indian information technology companies and Medical/Bio-Technology firms, and is a hub for the growing Indian space program.

Many people take houseboat tours or ride the river boats in Kerala.

Come to India. Come to Ayurvaidya. Begin your ayurvedic journey.
