Seasons Greetings from Kovalam
Dear Friends:
Happy New Year from Kovalam, India. After a somewhat shaky start to the season due to weather and the world wide economic downturn Ayurvaidya is now experiencing a wonderful surge of energy from all parts of the world: Denmark, Japan, Sweden, Singapore, Germany, the UK, Canada, the USA, and even Ecuador! Not to mention people coming from northern India south for treatments.
The center is looking great as well. Newly painted and renovated this year, our staff is as enthusiastic as ever. Dr. Vinoy is on hand to discuss treatments and recommend and supervise healing paths for all who come here looking for wellness.
Ayurvaidya offers this kind of specialized, one to one care. Dr. Vinoy is well-known for being so intuitively tuned into his patients. And while there are many “ayurvedic clinics” here in Kovalam, it is my belief that few offer the care and expertise that Dr. Vinoy capably gives; many don’t even have certified doctors of ayurvedic medicine on staff – and it is possible people receiving treatments are not getting the correct treatment or care they should be.
So often I hear from our patients that Dr. Vinoy has done for them what no one else has been able to; that is, correctly diagnose and then correctly treat their problem. So many of our patients are repeaters who come back for further treatments or come in for “tune-ups” to remove the stress that has accumulated.
We have so many new patients, as well, who are trying ayurvedic medicine for the first time who are equally thrilled with the results of their treatment. One woman from the US who was recently with us had been in a terrible car accident. Last year alone she had eight cortisone shots in her back to alleviate the on-going pain. After being successfully treated by Dr. Vinoy and his staff therapists she returned home to her disbelieving doctor - the same one who had given her the eight cortisone shots to no avail. The doctor refused to believe that the treatments Dr. Vinoy performed and the oils which he used and sent her home with could do what ‘modern medicine’ could not. But she believes! She just listens to her body and to the fact that her pain is greatly diminished. She is planning to return in March to continue on her path to wellness with Ayurvaidya and Dr. Vinoy.
Many new and exciting changes are planned for the coming year, including relocating to an all inclusive center where we will have more rooms, relaxing gardens, and a swimming pool all in one location for your added enjoyment and ease. Organic ayurvedic menus will also be included.
